The Everlasting Word, December 3

“…For what is your life?  It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.”  James 4:14
I received in the mail a brochure that on the front was printed in large and bold letters: “Time is running out.”
How true that statement is when it comes to life.  For life is short.  The older you are the faster life speeds by.  When I was young I never thought my 16th birthday would come so I could get a drivers license.  Now it seems that it was just yesterday.
Since life is so short we should make sure everyday has real meaning.  It is a shame to live life, but never make a difference in your circle of influence or your community. Living life for yourself, for your wants, and only your happiness is selfish.  The more of your life you give away to others the more contentment and joy you will receive for yourself.  This life is short, but the next life is eternal, therefore be sure to be ready for that life that really matters!!!  An Everlasting Word!!!!
