One of the nicest perks of living in Tanglewood in December (besides NOT being in Wisconsin or New York) is the annual appearance of the Card Boxes.
For you newbies, this is an arrangement wherein residents can leave holiday cards for other residents (or employees) without paying postage. The boxes are located at the pool corner of the Clubhouse. They are divided alphabetically, to make it easy to leave cards, and of course, pick up the cards that have been left for you. Helpful hint: When you address a card for a friend, write his name across the TOP of the envelope. You’l see why when you go to collect your cards.
These popular boxes fill up FAST, so it is a good idea to check for your cards every day or so. We thank Hometown and the Wood Shop people who constructed the boxes years ago.
