The Tanglewood Art Guild’s annual Exhibit is always impressive. Out of all the retirement communities in Florida, so many accomplished artists chose ours. And they are teaching newcomers. Out of the twenty or so displayers, at least two of them are new residents, and one more is a novice at art.
In no particular order, these residents were showing their works:
Kathie Carr, Laurel Adams, Ann K.Reynolds, Pat Reich, Bob Clark.e, Mary Jones, Kathie Mousseau, Peg Claflin, Marg Carney, Ruth Phillips, Kathy Keller, Virginia Eisen, Linda Beardsley, Rose Besch, Janet Willis, Renata Donaldson, Joyce Robbins, and June George.
Refreshments were offered by Pat Reich. Merry Mary Fulton provided some lovely, relaxing piano music, proving not all art is visual. Norma Evans is the President of the Guild, and Joyce Robbins once again put the show together.
Two raffle prizes were up for grabs “Sea Mist”, an acrylic painting by Virginia Eisen and a photograph of “Pygmy Fringe” by Karla Respress. (The winners’ names were not available at press time.) All money earned from the raffle will go for a scholarship to an aspiring artist at the college
