Pickleball League Shootout

Tanglewood Takes Second Twice

The South Central Florida Pickleball League has been in operation since 2011. Tanglewood won the Best 8 Championship Shootout in 2014 when there was just one division in which both men and women could play. In 2016 a Ladies Division was introduced and Tanglewood came out on top in both 2016 and 2017.

This year Tanglewood was tops in the Best 8 after regular season play and our ladies were second. On March 8, the Ladies competed in a Shootout at Del Webb Orlando and the Best 8 team played there on March 10.

At the championship shootouts, each community had four pairs competing, ranked A, B, C and D. Each team competed in a double elimination tournament with Tanglewood placing second in both the Ladies and the Best 8 divisions.
