After a brief two-month vacation, Jeannie DeLucia and the Tuesday Morning Needleworkers are resuming classes on Tuesday, Sept. 4. We’re in the Craft Room from 9 – 11 AM.
New members are always welcome. If you’ve never knit or crocheted before, but want to learn, come meet us. If you have an old unfinished project, bring it. If you just want to sit and talk and laugh with old and new friends while creating something special, come.
Are you thinking, “Yeah, I used to like to crochet afghans, but who needs another afghan in Florida?” I’ll tell you. Nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and hospice. The Veterans’ Home cannot get enough Red, White, and Blue lap robes. New mothers in need are always glad to receive a pretty baby blanket or hat and booties set.
We get yarn donated from several sources, and it all goes for charitable projects. (If you are making Christmas stockings for the grandies or a special shawl for an upcoming wedding, then you provide your own yarn, of course.)
We put the coffee on at 9 AM. Come grab a cup. Join us before all the snowbirds come back, there’s no charge, no sign-up, no obligation. Just come.
