CPR Course Offering

Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation

Would you be interested in taking a CPR for Family & Friends course here in Tanglewood? CPR for Family & Friends is a ‘Hands OnlyCPR Course by the American Heart Association.  No mouth to mouth breathing or special equipment needed. Hands Only CPR was designed for non-medical individuals who desire to know how to recognize if someone is in Cardiac Arrest, and what they can do to give that person a second chance to live again.

Are you curious about the AED in the glass encased cabinet on the wall by the mirror room? Would you like to know how and when to use it?  Did you know you can not ‘accidentally’ shock someone when using an AED? What do the letters AED represent? Finally, do you know the difference between a heart attack and cardiac arrest?

All these questions and more will be answered during the CPR For Friends & Family Course coming your way soon. We even have CPR manikins to practice performing compressions. Keep watching here for dates. The next time you see me, I double dog dare you to, start singing the chorus to the Bee Gees song ‘Stayin Alive’. The class will be free to those who do.  (Stayin Alive, Stayin Alive, ah, ah, ah, ah Stayin Alive)…
