Easy Bake Dinner

****SHEPARD”S PIE****

TIME TO CLEAN OUT THE LEFTOVERS IN THE FREEZER OR REFRIGERATOR

  • 1 POUND GROUND BEEF OR TURKEY
  • 1/4 CUP KETCHUP
  • 1 CUP MIXED VEGETABLES-CANNED OR FROZEN(THAWED) Or any leftover cooked vegetables you have in your refrigerator
  • 1/4 CUP SHREDDED CHEDDAR CHEESE
  • ANY LEFTOVER MASHED POTATOES

HOW TO:

  1. COOK GROUND BEEF OR TURKEY UNTIL FULLY COOKED(Drain any grease)
  2. PREHEAT OVEN TO 400 DEGREES
  3. STIR IN KETCHUP
  4. ADD VEGETABLES AND COOK AND STIR FOR 1 MINUTE
  5. SPOON INTO A 9×9 GREASED BAKING PAN OR DISH
  6. MIX THE CHEESE WITH THE POTATOES IN A BOWL
  7. SPREAD THE MIXED POTATOES OVER THE BEEF MIXTURE

NOW PREPARE NEXT RECIPE AND HEAT IN OVEN TOGETHER

****YAM AND APPLESAUCE CASSEROLE****

  • 1 CAN YAMS 16oz
  • 1 CUP APPLESAUCE
  • 1/2 CUP BROWN SUGAR
  • 1 TABLESPOON BUTTER(MELTED)
  • 1/4 TEASPOON GROUND CINNAMON

HOW TO:

  1. IN A LARGE BOWL: MIX TOGETHER : 1 CUP APPLESAUCE, 1/4 CUP BROWN SUGAR , 1/4 TEASPOON GROUND CINNAMON, 1 TABLESPOON BUTTER MELTED
  2. POUR CANNED YAMS INTO THE BOWL AND MAKE SURE ALL YAMS ARE COATED WITH APPLESAUCE MIXTURE
  3. LAYER IN A SQUARE GREASED BAKING DISH AND POUR ANY LEFTOVER SAUCE ON TOP AND SPREAD OUT
  4. BAKE WITH SHEPARD’S PIE UNTIL BOTH DISHES ARE THOROUGHLY  HEATED ABOUT 15 MINUTES

TURN YOUR OVEN DOWN TO 350 DEGREES

ENJOY YOUR MEAL… THEN PREPARE

****FRUIT COCKTAIL CAKE****

  • 1 CUP ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
  • 1 CUP WHITE SUGAR
  • 1 EGG
  • 1 TEASPOON BAKING SODA
  • 1 TEASPOON VANILLA EXTRACT
  • 1 (160Z) CAN FRUIT COCKTAIL HEAVY SYRUP(UNDRAINED!)
  • 1/2 CUP PACKED BROWN SUGAR

HOW TO:

  1. LIGHTLY GREASE A 9×9″ SQUARE BAKING PAN
  2. COMBINE FLOUR, WHITE SUGAR, EGG, BAKING SODA, VANILLA, UNDRAINED FRUIT COCKTAIL(MIX UNTIL BLENDED)
  3. POUR BATTER INTO PREPARED PAN AND SPRINKLE TOP WITH BROWN SUGAR
  4. BAKE AT 350 DEGREES FOR 40 MINUTES UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN AND FIRM(USE TOOTHPICK TEST)

DESSERT IS READY
