Thanks to the artistic ability of Linda Schneider and her minions, the Clubhouse turned into the Tumblewood Saloon. A bar was brought in and supplied with Rot Gut, Puma Piddle, Rattlesnake Juice and other delights. A painted mirror of a “lady of great refinement” (complete with Tanglewood badges) hung over the bar.

Hopefully The Last Update: Left Turn Off Tanglewood Drive Onto The US 27 Service Road.

6/13/09: No one has admitted getting a ticket.  I need a name to ask the Highlands County Sheriff’s Office, via Jim Hummel, to pursue this problem.  This may be one of those “Tanglewood Rumors”, but I don’t think so.  I have someone, who I consider a reliable source, say that he talked to the state trooper who was waiting behind the fruit stand to ticket someone.

COFFEE TIME
Our Coffee Committee now has coffee and rolls available from 7:00 AM until 8:30 AM. At 8:30 I will start the announcements. For July there will not be any coffee sponsors, so there is a $1.00 charge for coffee and roll, and you may have coffee refills. There may be a public service speaker occasionally, but I will keep you informed of those, and they will be after our regular park announcements. Please remember to bring your coffee cup.
