2 Recipes Just 4 You

**** CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE BAR Small Batch****

  • 1 Stick (4oz) butter-softened
  • 1/3 Cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 Cup granulated sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp instant coffee
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 Cup chips

HOW TO:

  1. Preheat oven to 375
  2. Grease an 8×8 or 9×9 square baking pan
  3. In a medium bowl, cream butter and both sugars until light and fluffy-about 1 minute
  4. Add egg-beat until combined
  5. Sprinkle flour, salt, instant coffee, baking soda, and baking powder on top of mixture
  6. Beat until just combined. Do not overmix
  7. Stir in chips
  8. Press batter into pan
  9. Bake 15 to 20 minutes until edges of bars have begun to brown. Do not overbake
  10. Let cool in pan 5 minutes Let completely cool on rack

This is a recipe I adapted to my taste….

I call it SWEET SWEET Chicken or Pork. There is nothing sour in the ingredients

Clue 2: You’re Always on my Mind

Use leftover chicken or pork

  • I can pineapple. I use tidbits
  • 1/2 to 1 package frozen Chinese vegetables
  • 2 Teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 Tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons ketchup

If you prefer rice with your meal- Start your 20 minute cooked rice now

HOW TO:

  1. Drain pineapple- RESERVE JUICE
  2. In a small bowl blend pineapple juice and corn starch
  3. Stir in sugar and ketchup
  4. Stir fry cooked meat and vegetables in oil until hot
  5. Stir in juice and cornstarch mix
  6. Cook until thick
  7. Add pineapple and cook until everything is hot
