With Super Bowl 54 right around the corner I thought I’d share 3 recipes that are simple to whip up in no time. Serve any of these with your favorite crackers, pretzels, or chopped vegetables and you have a snack that will have them coming back for more.
~~Million Dollar Dip~ ~
8 oz. whipped cream cheese
1 C mayonnaise
8 oz. shredded Colby jack or cheddar cheese
5 chopped green onions
1 clove fresh chopped garlic
1/2 C chopped bacon
1/2 C toasted slivered almonds (optional)
In a medium mixing bowl add all the ingredients mixing well until completely blended.
Spoon into a small serving bowl and refrigerate several hours.
This is my favorite version of the popular recipe for Million Dollar Dip because it uses both whipped cream cheese and mayonnaise. I often add a pinch of cayenne pepper to zip it up a bit.
~~Ranch Chicken Cheese Spread~~
2 – 8 oz. blocks cream cheese softened
1 – 12.5 oz. can chicken drained
1 C shredded cheddar cheese
1 pkg. dry ranch dressing mix
In a medium mixing bowl add all ingredients and mix well.
Refrigerate several hours before serving.
~~Chipped Beef Cheese Ball~~
2 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
2 small packages chipped beef, finely chopped
1-2 diced green onions
1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
2 tsp. Worchestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 C chopped pecans (optional)
In a medium mixing add all ingredients and mix well.
I like to stir in a little shredded cheddar cheese if I have it on hand for color & additional texture.
Form into a ball, roll in chopped pecans if desired, and wrap in plastic wrap.
Refrigerate several hours or overnight for best flavor.
