The floor mats are installed and much appreciated. We thank HTA for their donation. We are looking for a Chair and Co-Chair. Please attend the election meeting.

The Tanglewood Library is used extensively by our residents. Since March 1, 2019 we have filed over 8,000 books and DVD’s.

For the March Garage Sale, it has been determined that the committee will not sell books. Instead, we will sell coffee and donuts from the kitchen for a fund raiser. We thank all residents for their patronage.

There are four new members and we encourage all residents to stop by and watch our fun activities.

A Code of Conduct Enforcement was submitted to the Secretary. It is on file.

Current play is Monday, Wednesday and Fridays starting at 9:00 a.m.

All residents are encouraged to play and we have racquets and balls available.

We presented the deteriorating condition of the courts to HTA/Darlene. We hope to have the expense of resurfacing in next years budget.

We are still enjoying excellent readership. We encourage all committees with activities to submit their write-up to us and we will place them within TWRTimes.

Water Volleyball:
We have received their Rules of Conduct for 2019-2020 and have placed same, by the secretary, in the file.

With the cold weather attendance has been low. With a slight increase in outside temperature our attendance has increased to approximately 40.

Welcome Committee:
Currently, the Chair and Co-Chair are stepping down. There is concern about the Clubs sustainability. Loss of current members is also a concern.

The committee has decided to withdraw from TMAC and function on a limited basis based on the aforementioned. We will rotate available committee members at the Welcome table to continue introducing the new residents of Tanglewood.

Wood Shop:
The shop is busy with most residents back from the Holidays.

We have purchased new saw blades, a pressure pot for acrylics and wood stabilization. There will be demonstration on this equipment following our meeting in January.

We will also be voting on By-Law changes at the January meeting.

Old Business:
Thank you to the current Table Games Chair, Ed Harris, for taking the leadership role on ordering the new tables.

Tom McKeever, addressed the overall concern about the current main calendar reservation system. The current system does not seem to meet the needs of committees trying to schedule their events as several committees have reserved activities years out.

Also, when committee activities are being cancelled, they are not removed from the main calendar.

Community Manager, Darlene, and Activity Director, Billie will be working on a more efficient way to handle this.

New Business:
Billie needs all committees’ annual report by the end of February.

Comments from the Floor:
Ben Davis addressed the Board about the process if a committee does not have a Chair or Co-Chair. Does the committee dissolve? The committee will no longer be a committee under TMAC as per the By-Laws.

Meeting adjourned at 4:00 p.m. Next meeting scheduled for February 19, 2020.

Respectfully Submitted,

Donna Scorse
TMAC Secretary
