Norma Evans Artist and Advocate for the Arts
Norma Evans is an advocate for the arts in Highlands County. She served as Treasurer of the Tanglewood Art League for three years and was President for four years, until 2017. During that time the art league experienced tremendous growth.
She is an active volunteer for not-for-profit art organizations in Highlands County.
Norma has served as gallery director for the Highlands Art League at the former Yellow House Gallery and gallery director for the Highlands Cultural Alliance at the Sebring Regional Airport Gallery.
She currently serves as gallery director for the Highlands Cultural Alliance at the Peter Powell Roberts Museum of Art.
She has nurtured hundreds of artists in this capacity: giving them opportunity to exhibit and grow in their artistic pursuits.

Norma also included a book she authored: Frank’s Passion, Breeding and Racing Homing Pigeons, One Man’s Journey.
