Park Manager Darlene Bradley sent out this announcement today, March 23:
“Out of an abundance of caution to minimize risk of exposure to the virus, we made the decision to open community gates to decrease the amount of hands on the gate pad. This preventive decision was based on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) guidance for preventing illness, by preventing the spread of germs from any touch pads.
However, we are empathetic to your concerns about keeping gates open, so we have decided to close them.
To help maintain the health and safety of you and the community, please avoid touching your face after you have used the gate pad, and wash your hands thoroughly for 20 seconds as soon as you can.”
