Announcement: Manager’s Corner – Comments from Darlene Bradley

 September 2020

No one knows what this year will bring as we head into the fall season.  The pandemic continues to be with us. Here at Tanglewood we will continue to adhere to the guidelines set forth by the State and Local authorities. We will always notify you of all amenity changes as they are handed down by the HTA Task Force, via One Call, email or call. Tanglewood would like to extend special Thanks to all those who have supported, practiced the safety guidelines and protocols.

I would like to take this time to send out a few reminders of regulations and rules.

We are in the office Monday – Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. You must call 863-402-1500, any appointments will be made by phone only. If you get the machine, we will call you back. If you are looking for a gate card, remote, or paperwork call the office for instructions, we will be glad to help you.

Please remember that the pool closes from 1 to 2 pm everyday to be sanitized. We are cleaning with a disinfectant that dries quickly and disinfects and sanitizes the areas that have been touched by others. These are suggested by the EPA and CDC and they are all EPA registered products.

We have had some of the lawn care businesses that are no longer doing yards. We have been sending out a nice note to let you know if you have weeds or need to be trimmed. If you are up North you may want to have the person taking care of your home check. I do not believe that they gave notice, they just stopped. If you do have someone that does your trimming, please explain to them they need to put the trimmings out no earlier than Thursday morning before yard waste pick up. The same for bulk pick up – the Thursday morning before, no sooner. There is a calendar of pick-up schedules on TWRTimes.

We know as time goes on phone numbers and emergency contacts change.  If you have any changes to your phone numbers or emergency contacts, just write it down and make sure to include your name, address, and the correct numbers for you and the emergency contact. You can drop those in the boxes at the office.  There are two – one you can pull up to in your car and the other is on the office building, left of the door marked rent.

Just a reminder that the speed limit in the community is 17 miles per hour. Make sure you are stopping at the stop signs and that you watch for walkers, bicycles, and pets. Walkers, if you are walking at night make sure to wear light colored clothing.
