“…I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:20  ESV

This is the promise given by Jesus before His return to Heaven.  Before His birth it was foretold that His name would be “Immanuel” which means “God with us.” So Jesus was telling His disciples, even though He was returning to His Father, He would still be with them. But, even better than that, when it is our time to leave this world we will be with Him!  My point is that once we have receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior, He will always be with us, no matter what happens.

I have been told that there are 366 “Fear Not” or “Be not afraid” scriptures in the Bible.  That means there is one even for a  Leap -Year. What does that mean?  Simple – that we do not need to fear no matter what is going on around us . We are secure in Jesus and His love for us. That doesn’t mean we will not suffer or get sick.  We must remember God made a perfect world, but we now live in a broken world due to the misdeeds of mankind.  But, I refuse to be afraid because I know God in His timing is going to once again bring about a perfect world.  Therefore let us rest in that promise!!!  An Everlasting Word!!!
