Dining Out: To Mask, or To NOT Mask

While we are still in the midst of a global pandemic, folks are starting to get out more to enjoy dining options outside of their homes.  It seems no matter who I talk to, there is still a varying degree of “caution” a lot of people are proceeding with.

It seems outdoor dining is a popular choice and a lot of folks are still seeking out establishments where the staff is masking up.

Many telephone calls later, here is a list of restaurants that offer outdoor seating and mask information based on my research. There is one particular piece of the Florida mandate on mask requirements that has been lifted and restaurant servers are not required to wear masks any more.  However, many places are asking/requiring their servers to still wear one to accommodate the wishes of their customers.

At the end of the day, if masks are important to you, I recommend calling ahead to inquire before you go.  If you know of a place that offers outdoor dining with MASKS ON, feel free to private message me at simplyselenapa@yahoo.com and I’ll update the list periodically.
