Congratulations to the 18 players who ignored the sunshine and golf courses to come play the TWRTimes’s Word Game.  The players were given 8 letters – 5 consonants and 3 vowels – and had 20 minutes to make as many words as possible out of those letters.  The words had to be a minimum of 4 letters long.
Coming in First Place, with 53 words, Janet Kohlweg (sorry for the spelling Janet!).  Second place went to (believe it or not) Joe Jarmy, with 52 words.  And former Spelling Bee Queen Barb VanDick took third with 51.  These three people are eligible for prizes at HTA’s Prize Award Day, March 13.
All contestants received a couple of scratch-off lottery tickets, just for showing up.  Thank you all, and we’ll see you again next year.
