With all the bad news that’s flooding the airwaves now, don’t you think it’s time for a little laughter?

Well, Special Events has just the prescription. This Sunday, 15 March, on our clubhouse stage will be a super show of comedy, emceed by Vinny Barber, who has 27 years hosting shows featuring such greats as Steve Harvey, Tommy Chong, Jimmy JJ Walker , and Larry the Cable Guy.

For us, he will be introducing Danny Johnson and Doc Dixon.

Danny delivers clean stand-up with “Northeast sarcasm and Southern charm,” making him a favorite theaters, corporate events, churches, and community audiences nationwide. He has been a featured comedian on Dry Bar Comedy (Apple TV, Amazon & Peacock), and has appeared on Comedy Central, in the NateLand Live show at Zanies comedy club in Nashville, and shared stages with Howie Mandel, Bob Saget, and many others. He is a Carnival Cruise Line Comedy Challenge winner and 15-year headliner. Danny blends sharp observations, expressive physical comedy, and relatable stories into a show audiences love.

Headlining the second act is Atlanta’s Doc Dixon, a comic magician. Doc has appeared on The Late Show, Penn & Teller’s Fool Us (he did), brought amazement & big laughs to luxury cruise lines, performed at more than a dozen resorts and casinos, and has done two shows at the White house. This is world class entertainment folks, and now it’s right here on our stage at the Tanglewood clubhouse.
