Again, yes again. We’ll continue to collect groceries and personal supplies as long as there is any need in Highlands County. The next food drive is Tuesday, August 11.
You all know the drill by now. Pick up a couple extra cans of soup or chicken or pasta meals when you go shopping. Boxes of cereal are always needed, peanut butter is a must. We also collect Kleenex, toilet paper, toothbrushes and toothpaste, shampoo, etc.
Have your sack of goodies out on your driveway by 8:30 Tuesday morning. Our volunteers will come to collect it. This month’s donation is headed for the food pantry at Faith Lutheran Church.
