It’s next week already, on the 10th.  This month our collection is going to Hands for Hope (formerly Hands for Homeless).

Their wish list is headed by pop-top cans of soup, vegetables and fruit, tuna, Spam, hash, and ready-to-eat pasta meals like Chef Boy-R-Dee lasagna or spaghetti and meatballs.  If you can add a box of cereal or jar of peanut butter, they’d appreciate it.   Maybe some Thanksgiving-themed food like Stovetop Stuffing, cranberry sauce, or boxes of instant potatoes.

They also give out hygiene supplies, like bar soap, shampoo, toothpaste and brushes, and toilet paper.  If it’s something you use, somebody needs it.

Please have your donation out on your driveway by 8:30 Tuesday for our volunteers to collect.  And thank you.
