The Tanglewood Community Christmas Caroling will be held on December 22. We will meet at 6:00 in the Community Room, and at 6:30, we will divide into three groups, go caroling and return for cookies, candy, cider, hot chocolate, and other things we shouldnβt have.
We need two things. The first is carolers. There is a white Christmas Caroling notebook on the credenza. On the left side, you can signΒ up to carol. I need your name and phone number. It doesnβt matter if you can sing; just make a joyful noise.
Second, we need people to sing to.Β Please, this is where everyone comes in.Β You know your frail, elderly neighbors who donβt get out much. Most love to have us come, and they are at the door waiting when we arrive. We would love to be overwhelmed with homes to visit, but we need you.
Ask if they would like Christmas carolers at their home between 6:30 and 7:30,Β get their permission, and write their name and address on the right side sheet. Itβs essential to get their permission.
Caroling has been a tradition in Tanglewood for years.Β It is always rewarding, both for the singers AND the recipients.Β If you havenβt gone out with us for a while, come on back.Β You wonβt be sorry.
