TUESDAY – JAN 7TH and what a fun filled evening it will be!!! Mark your calendar because you will not want to miss this great night. Let’s start out the New Year with a night of laughter and fun…………….all while helping out a fellow resident!
The evening is a benefit for Sandi Deavers and there are so many ways you can help out while having a great time…… but we’ve designed it so you can spend as little or as much as you want!!! YOU get to choose how much you’d like to help!
The headliner for a “Night of Comedy” will be JAUNITA LOLITA!! Juanita was voted Tampa’s funniest female, Creative Loafing Magazine’s “Best of the Bay” and was a finalist in the World Series of Comedy in Las Vegas.
There will be two other acts to entertain you during the evening…..all for the admission price of $15. We’ll have a well know beauty/health consultant who will give us wonderful advice on how to stay young, healthy and beautiful at our age and then we will take you through the Tanglewood “walk of fame. (or shame)
This is all you will have to spend if you just want to have an evening of fun and enjoy some great comedy!!!!!
BUT……..if you’d also like to have a Chick-fil-a basket …………..you can spend $10 and receive a chicken sandwich, some chips, a mixed fruit cup, a cookie and a bottle of water.
If you don’t want to attend the comedy you can STILL get a basket…..just come to the lobby of the clubhouse………get your food ticket and take it to the back door of the kitchen and you can take your sandwich home!
Another way you might choose to help…………. is by buying a raffle ticket(s) for some FANTASTIC prizes. These tickets will also be sold in the lobby (and at Monday coffee) because you DO NOT have to be present to win. We are currently selling these raffle tickets at Monday Morning coffee and at Thursday sales (clubhouse 1:00 – 2:00 PM) for your convenience.
OR / AND you might choose to help is by buying a 50/50 raffle ticket. These tickets will be sold inside the clubhouse because YOU DO HAVE TO BE PRESENT TO WIN.

One last thing we are doing in conjunction with the benefit (although NOT at the event itself) ……….we are selling coupons for a year’s worth of bouquets. The coupon sells for $20 and entitles you to go to Ridge Florist once each month to pick up your bouquet. $20 divided by 12 months means each bouquet costs $1.66 How can you beat that??? If you are a snowbird you will still receive 12 bouquets!
We’ve labeled these flowers the “happy wife……happy life” bouquet………… OR if you have someone you’d just like to make happy once a month………they make a great thoughtful gift for someone who needs something special. We will be selling these bouquets…….at Monday morning coffee and at Thursday sales in the clubhouse from 1:00 – 2:00 PM…….or if we are home…….at 3508 Indian Summer Trail in Dreamcatcher.
