These markings are part of a fiber optic installation project being completed by T-Mobile in partnership with Sun ‘N Lake. The project is currently in its early stages, and a completion date has not yet been determined.

Your Tanglewood team takes great pride in supporting our local community through a variety of philanthropic opportunities. Recently, through the Hometown America Foundation’s Hearts & Hands program, we were honored to present donations to Tanglewood Helping Tanglewood, Heartland Food Bank, and the Highlands County Veterans Council.

On October 8, many members of our team will be volunteering  alongside Highlands Habitat for Humanity, helping to make a positive impact in our community.

In support of the Highlands County Veterans Council, we are also collecting hygiene products to donate to local veterans in need. The Council assists more than 140 veterans residing in assisted living facilities who are experiencing financial hardships and may struggle to afford basic personal care items.

We invite you to join us in supporting this important cause. Donations of hygiene products may be dropped off with AnneMarie at the clubhouse or at the main business office.

As many of you are aware, our front gate system has operated using a traditional landline connection since it was originally installed.

Over time, we discovered that one of the primary causes of gate malfunctions was related to weather conditions. During periods of rain, high humidity, or excessive moisture, the landline connection would often experience interruptions, causing the gate system to fail.

To address this issue, we recently replaced the landline service with a cellular-based connection. Our hope is that this upgrade will improve reliability and help minimize future gate disruptions.

We understand how frustrating it can be when community systems do not function as expected. While you may not always see the work taking place behind the scenes, please know that we are continually investigating problems, exploring solutions, and making improvements to enhance the experience for all residents.

We appreciate your patience as we carefully evaluate options for replacing the trees and landscaping lost during this year’s freeze. While we could have simply replaced these items with the same varieties, we wanted to use this opportunity to refresh and enhance the community’s appearance with a more updated landscape design. This process has  required extensive planning, research, and consideration to ensure we make the best long-term decisions for our community. As a result, it has taken a bit longer than originally anticipated, but we are confident the end result will be well worth the wait.

We’ve sure missed our Friday Night with Friends gatherings this summer, and we’re excited to bring them back with a special pre-season kickoff!

Our new Outback RV Manager is hosting a Pre-Season Kickoff Party, and you’re invited to join the fun on Friday, September 25th at the Outback Bash Area from 5-7 pm.
