Recently after posting the MYC (Model Yacht Club) races results, I was asked….just what do those boat classifications mean?  Well, I had no idea 🤷‍♂️……so I asked the Tanglewood Model Yacht Club Chair Michael Gray to clarify and here you go, these are the 3 classes of boats they sail.  Ask and you shall receive, Thanks Michael 👍

I.  Dragon Force 65                     
25.7 inches long

II.  V-32
    32 inches long
8 inches wide
51 inches high
435 – 450 square inches of sail area
6 pounds minimum weight

III.  Soling 1 meter
     39.37 inches long
8.58 inches wide
60 inches high
592 square inches sail area
10 pounds minimum weight
