If you’re new to Tanglewood, the Monday Coffee Committee brings the pots of coffee, decaf, and hot water out at about 7:30. The donuts are available at 8:00 (no charge) and the program starts at 8:30. We’re usually done shortly after 9:00, although it might run a little longer on November 2 due to the special speaker.
If you’ve never been to a Coffee, bring your own cup and name badge (for the donut). The first table inside the doors belongs to the Welcome Committee, who would be glad to help you get acquainted with our park. Look for the yellow sunflower on the table.
Besides getting your breakfast and a chance to talk to your friends, you can also buy tickets for various events coming up, like the Dances, Meals, and Special Events Shows. In the upcoming months you’ll find all the representatives of different states (and Canada) with information about the States Parties.
Monday Morning Coffees, or MMC, have been run by Polly Grant for years, and we appreciate her. There’s a different sponsor every week, from insurance salesmen to home health companies to TMAC committees to medical clinics. They pay for the coffee and donuts so we can eat free.
