By now you’ve probably noticed that Hometown’s meal for Resident Appreciation Days is scheduled for the same day as our monthly Pot Luck.
No matter. We are going forward with the Pot Luck, Tuesday, March 10, where you’ll be able to fill your plates with hot dishes, a large variety of sides and many desserts. And we’ll be indoors, away from blowing leaves and other assorted allergens.
You want to come? Sure! Just sign up in the Pot Luck binder on the credenza. Indicate how many are going to be in your party, and if you’re planning to bring a Main Dish, Side, or Dessert for the common tables. You’ll also need your own table service and a drink.
There’s NO CHARGE for our Pot Lucks. Everyone gets a free door prize ticket, and you have the opportunity to buy a strip of 50/50 tickets and maybe win a bunch of money.
And why are there two meals scheduled for the same day? We don’t know, it wasn’t our doing. But if you go to the charcuterie board at 1 PM you’ll still be hungry enough to eat a satisfying meal at 5:30. And we will be there for you. And you’ll be done in time to play Bunco.
