Summary of May TMAC Meeting Wednesday, May 20th Clubhouse 3pm.
All committees were represented at the TMAC May 20th meeting. One month earlier, at the April Meeting, a temporary Funding Committee was formed. This permitted three more board members to join with the Finance committee to broaden the search for new avenues in subsidizing TMAC’s operational expenses. “They were to select the best course of action, and prepare a motion for consideration by the board that includes the funding methods proposed and how they would be carried out”. When asked how long this process would take, the 24 TMAC Board committees were told they would have an answer by the May meeting. If not, they would receive an update on the research at that point.
On April 28th The Funding committee arranged for a public meeting to allow residents to ask questions and offer suggestions. There were several good ideas and options presented. Yet, for some reason, they could not come up with a consensus agreement or proposal to present at the May meeting.
So, here we are…out for the summer, perhaps the committees should send in their own personal plans on how they will pay for a portion of TMAC operating expenses.
At the April meeting the committees voted to recess TMAC Meetings for the months of June, July and August. Next scheduled TMAC meeting is September 16, 2026.
