Are you going away for a week or so and concerned about your house plants while you are away?  Here’s a simple solution.
If you have any of the plastic (not paper or styrofoam) to-go containers from restaurants, they make an Excellent watering tray.  Place your plant pot (NO, NOT of pot!) in the take-out container and add water to the container.
This worked for me hopefully for you too.
