In 2012 Larry started volunteering at the visitor center in West Quoddy Head Lighthouse near Lubec, Maine, the easternmost town in the US.
Under the expert guidance of Betty Bjore, the craft group learned how to make artificial flowers. Although the procedure seemed easy, actually making the flowers took many clever and nimble fingers.
Soon after coming here in 2003, Marilyn was asked to be TMAC treasurer. “I’ll give it a try,” she said. As a retired math teacher, Marilyn was well suited to tackle the task.
