Tanglewood Derby

The crowd was sparse but enthusiastic.  Our first Derby was a beta test, specifically to work out the kinks of the new game before scheduling it for a winter-season crowd.

Dennis Tewksbury came up with the idea and the whole Diversions Committee fine-tuned it.  Kathy Wyatt took care of the paper work (betting sheets), while Bob Larocque laid out the race course.  Other members took the bets and paid out the winners, figured the odds, and handed out the ubiquitous ice cream.

Now that we know there’s interest, Diversions will be looking for another couple of free nights or days to run the game again.  We’ll let you know.
