Special Events Best Show

Special Events March 10th show featuring The Blues Brothers was one of the most entertaining shows this season. The tribute band was a professional act with experienced entertainers who not only knew how to do a sound check but knew how to check the sound and feel of the audience, who quite frequently were eager to participate both on and off the stage. The atmosphere was lively and the tempo remained upbeat the entire night.

Two of our hometown residents, dressed as Nuns, went for a walk with the brothers as they were singing in the aisles. When the musicians returned to the stage, a sister followed one of them with her ‘ruler’ tapping him on the shoulder. Apparently she just wanted to dance across the stage.. 

The musicians were outstanding. The fiddle player went up against country singer Roy Clark on the video. The Blues Brothers were like a non-stop freight train captivating the audience with their high energy show. Along with the band, their look, sound and their moves were spectacular.

Special Events has three shows left in this season. All show are on Sunday night from seven to nine pm.

Next up: Neil Diamond, March 24th. 

For April:  ABBA, April 7th and The Bee Gees on April 21st. 

If you didn’t buy season tickets, you can still purchase individual tickets for $20/per person for a limited time through Billie, our Activities Director, and at Monday Coffee, or Thursday afternoon in the clubhouse. Tickets could be available to purchase the night of the show for $25,  but why wait?  Each of the three performances left could be a sell-out Show!
