On March 16, 2024, we celebrated our Pétanque End of Winter Season Party known as “Crazy Pétanque”. The day started out with Pétanque skill competition that included pointing, bombing, rolling, and tossing a Pétanque ball to a specific location. This event was followed by a luncheon in the Activities Building. After the luncheon the scores were revealed, and prizes given out. We also had several door prizes and two 50/50 winners.
In the men’s category from (R to L).
1st Place Dave Gatten, 2nd Place Terry Day, and 3rd Place Neville Carr. There was a three-way tie for last place. Leonard Vaughn, DC Turnage, and Jerry Neuhalfen.
In the women’s category from (L to R).
1st Place Paula Dascola, Best Pointer Linda Clonts, 2nd Place Jera Meighen, 3rd Place tie Sharon Day, and Val Edmondson. Last Place and not pictured Catherine Smith.
Our 50/50 winners (L to R) Leonard Vaughn, and Rose Hess received $62 each.
